- Travelers holding a valid, multiple-entry Schengen visa that has been used at least once in a Schengen state are exempt from visa requirements for short stays in Albania
- Exempt travelers must leave Albania no later than 3 days before the expiry of their qualifying Schengen visa
- For those not holding a qualifying visa, applications must be submitted through the official portal at e-visa.al or at an Albanian diplomatic mission
- The e-visa system may experience temporary suspensions; verify status on the official portal before planning
- All documents uploaded to the e-visa portal must be in English or Albanian and in PDF format
- Visa approval is not a guarantee of entry; border authorities retain the right to deny admission
