Application notes

  • A UK visa does not grant visa-free entry to Bosnia and Herzegovina for Pakistani passport holders — apply for a Type C visa at the Islamabad embassy
  • Pakistani passport holders are not eligible for visa-free entry based on a UK visa; the UK is not a signatory to the Schengen Agreement or an EU member state
  • Visa-free entry is only permitted for Pakistani citizens holding a valid multiple-entry visa or residence permit from the USA, a Schengen member state, or an EU member state
  • Travelers eligible for visa-free entry under the aforementioned conditions may stay for up to 30 days per entry, within a 90-day period in any 180-day timeframe
  • Applicants requiring a visa must apply in person at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Islamabad
  • All visa applicants must register their address of residence with the local police or Service for Foreigners' Affairs within 48 hours of arrival if staying in private accommodation
  • Proof of financial sufficiency (minimum 150 KM per day) may be requested by border authorities upon entry
