Application notes
- Pakistani passport holders must apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) through the IRCC online portal or at a VFS Global Visa Application Centre
- Biometrics are mandatory for Pakistani citizens and must be provided at a VFS Global Visa Application Centre
- Business visitors must demonstrate that their main place of business and source of income are located outside of Canada
- Ensure all documents are in English or French or accompanied by a certified translation
- Processing times for Pakistani applicants can be lengthy; apply at least three months in advance
- Possession of a valid visa for other countries does not grant visa-free entry to Canada for Pakistani passport holders

Complete the application form for a Temporary Resident Visa for business purposes
Step 3
Upload all required supporting documents including digital copies of your passport and civil records
Step 4
Pay the visa application and biometrics fees online using a credit or debit card
Step 5
Receive the Biometric Instruction Letter after submission
Step 6
Book an appointment at the VFS Global Visa Application Centre to provide your biometrics
Step 7
Submit your passport to the VFS Global Visa Application Centre if requested for visa stamping
Step 8
Collect your passport once the application has been processed and a decision is reached
