Application notes
- Applications for a consular visa can be initiated online through the Georgian E-Application System on geoconsul.gov.ge, followed by submission at a Georgian diplomatic mission
- Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Georgian Lari (GEL) is mandatory for all tourists entering Georgia from January 1, 2026, covering the entire period of stay
- It is recommended to apply at least four to six weeks before the intended travel date to allow for sufficient processing time
Application Process

Visit the Georgian E-Application System on geoconsul.gov.ge
Step 2
Complete the online visa application form with all required personal and travel details
Step 3
Upload digital copies of all necessary documents, including a recent biometric photograph
Step 4
Schedule an appointment at the nearest Georgian diplomatic mission or consular office to submit physical documents
Step 5
Attend the scheduled appointment and submit the printed application form along with original supporting documents
Step 6
Pay the visa fee as instructed by the consular office during the submission appointment
Step 7
Collect the passport with the issued visa from the diplomatic mission after processing
