Application notes
- Traveler holds a valid UAE GCC residence permit, unlocking visa-free entry if validity is at least one year or e-visa if shorter
- From January 1, 2026, all tourists entering Georgia must hold valid health and accident insurance with minimum coverage of 30,000 GEL for the entire stay (Government Decree No. 602); policy must be in English or Georgian and available in print or electronic form at border control
- Travelers holding a valid multiple-entry GCC or UAE residence permit with at least one year of remaining validity are eligible for visa-free entry and do not require an e-Visa
- If the GCC or UAE residence permit has less than one year of validity or is a single-entry permit, the traveler must apply for a C1 short-term visa via the official portal at geoconsul.gov.ge
- Ensure the passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure from Georgia
