- The Tourist ETA for Pakistani nationals is currently issued at a zero-fee rate for a 30-day double-entry period as per the latest government policy effective 25 May 2026 via eta.gov.lk
- Ensure the passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of arrival in Sri Lanka
- The online ETA system at is the sole official channel for tourist entry; avoid third-party websites claiming to provide expedited services via eta.gov.lk
- Travelers must carry a printed copy of the ETA approval notice to present to immigration officials upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport or other ports of entry via eta.gov.lk
Application Process
Step 1
Visit the official Sri Lanka ETA portal at to initiate the application via eta.gov.lk
Step 2
Select the Tourist ETA category and complete the online application form with accurate passport and travel details via eta.gov.lk
Step 3
Submit the application online and await the electronic approval notice
Step 4
Print the official ETA approval notice received via email to present at the port of entry via eta.gov.lk
Step 5
Present the passport and printed ETA approval to the immigration officer at the Sri Lankan border for final entry clearance via eta.gov.lk
