Application notes
- Pakistani passport holders, including those with GCC residency, must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via the official portal before travel via eta.gov.lk
- The Tourist ETA for Pakistani nationals is issued free of charge (USD 0) under the 40-country scheme effective from 25 May 2026 via eta.gov.lk
- The ETA is valid for 30 days and allows for double entry into Sri Lanka via eta.gov.lk
- Ensure the passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of arrival
- Travelers must present the printed ETA approval notice at the immigration counter upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport via eta.gov.lk

Complete the online application form with accurate passport and travel details

Submit the application and wait for the electronic approval notice

Print the official ETA approval notice received via email to present at the border via eta.gov.lk
