- The standard online ETA grants a double-entry stay of up to 30 days, which can be extended after arrival via the Department of Immigration and Emigration eservices portal via eta.gov.lk
- Travelers must carry a printout of the ETA approval notice along with a passport valid for at least six months via eta.gov.lk
- Standard online ETA processing does not require CNIC, Family Registration Certificate, employer NOC, or tax returns via eta.gov.lk

Complete the online tourist visa application form with personal and passport details
Step 3
Submit the online application without any fee payment under the eligible 40-country tourist scheme
Step 4
Receive the official ETA approval notice via email or download it directly from the portal via eta.gov.lk
Step 5
Print a copy of the ETA approval notice and present it along with your passport and return ticket upon arrival at the Sri Lankan port of entry via eta.gov.lk
