Visa exemption

Pakistani passport holders are not eligible for visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival in Nicaragua, and holding a valid US visa does not grant an exemption from the visa requirement

Application notes

• Pakistani passport holders, including those with a valid US visa, are classified under Category C and require prior authorization from immigration authorities in Managua
• The Consulted Visa process is mandatory for Pakistani nationals and is not bypassed by holding a US visa
• All applications must be processed through the official portal of the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration (DGME)
• Applicants must ensure the passport has at least two blank pages and six months of validity remaining
• Processing times are determined by the immigration authorities in Managua and can be extended; apply well in advance of the intended travel date
• The electronic visa authorization must be printed and presented to airlines and immigration officials upon arrival at Augusto C. Sandino International Airport
• All documents must be submitted in the required digital format as specified by the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration
• Failure to obtain the Consulted Visa prior to travel will result in denied boarding or entry
