Visa exemption

Pakistani passport holders, including those holding a valid US visa, are not eligible for visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival in Nicaragua and require a Consulted Visa

Application notes

• With a valid US visa: a visa is still required — Consulted Visa (Category C): USD 50
• Pakistani passport holders, even when holding a valid US visa, are classified under Category C and require prior authorization from immigration authorities in Managua via solicitudes.migob.gob.ni
• The Consulted Visa process is mandatory for Pakistani nationals and is not bypassed or exempted by holding a US visa
• All applications must be submitted digitally through the official portal of the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration at migob.gob.ni
• Applicants must ensure the passport has at least six months of validity remaining and two blank pages
• Processing times are determined by immigration authorities in Managua and can take several weeks; apply well in advance of travel
• The electronic visa authorization must be downloaded, printed, and presented to airlines and immigration officials upon arrival at Augusto C. Sandino International Airport
• Failure to obtain the Consulted Visa prior to departure will result in denied boarding or entry
