Application notes

  • Travelers holding valid GCC residency (gcc_om) can apply online for the GCC Resident tourist visa via the Royal Oman Police portal at evisa.rop.gov.om without requiring a local sponsor, provided their profession is on the approved list
  • The applicant's GCC residence permit and passport must each remain valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Oman
  • Spouses and dependent children accompanying the principal GCC resident may also utilize the GCC resident electronic visa facility
  • Ensure the online application is submitted well in advance of travel, as approval is subject to verification by the Directorate General of Passports and Residence

Application Process

  1. Step 1

    Navigate to the official Royal Oman Police eVisa portal at evisa.rop.gov.om

  2. Step 2

    Register a new user account or log in to access the online visa services dashboard

  3. Step 3

    Select the unsponsored GCC Resident Visa category through the visa eligibility wizard

  4. Step 4

    Complete the online application form with accurate passport and GCC residency details

  5. Step 5

    Upload scanned copies of a valid passport bio page, passport-sized photograph, and valid GCC residence permit

  6. Step 6

    Submit the application and complete the fee payment online using a credit or debit card upon approval
