- Since 1 February 2025, tourist visa applications for Pakistani nationals without qualifying US, UK, or Schengen visas must be processed through Tasheer (Etimad) service centers in Pakistan
- Pakistani nationals without valid, used US, UK, or Schengen visas are not eligible for e-Visa or Visa on Arrival
- The tourist visa allows for the performance of Umrah outside of the Hajj season
- Tourist visas are subject to suspension during the Hajj season, typically occurring between April and mid-June
- Travel insurance covering medical expenses is mandatory and integrated into the visa application process
- Passport must remain valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of arrival in Saudi Arabia
