Application notes
- Pakistani passport holders are not eligible for the Saudi e-Visa or Visa on Arrival
- Applicants must apply for a visa through the official Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs MOFA portal and complete the process at a designated VFS Tasheer center
- A family visit visa requires a formal invitation from a resident or citizen sponsor in Saudi Arabia approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Since February 2025, family visit visas for Pakistani nationals are typically issued as single-entry with a maximum 30-day stay
- Hajj-season tourist and visit visa suspension typically applies from approximately April to mid-June
- Apply at least four to six weeks before the intended travel date to account for processing times
- Ensure all documents are attested by the relevant chambers of commerce or government bodies as required by the invitation type
Application Process
Step 1
The sponsor in Saudi Arabia submits an electronic invitation request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs MOFA portal
Step 2
Once the invitation is approved, the applicant completes the visa application form on the MOFA Enjaz website
Step 3
Pay the required visa fees and insurance fees through the Enjaz portal
Step 4
Book an appointment at the nearest VFS Tasheer center in Pakistan
Step 5
Submit the passport, printed application form, and all required supporting documents to the VFS Tasheer center
Step 6
Collect the passport with the visa stamp once processing is complete
