- Pakistan's Hajj quota is split between the Government Hajj Scheme and Private Hajj Scheme (authorized operators listed on mora.gov.pk / hgo.hajjinfo.org)
- The qualifying UK, US, or Schengen visa must have been used at least once with a visible entry/exit stamp; unused visas do not qualify
- Book hotels independently (Booking.com, Agoda, etc.) — no Nusuk package required on this route, but you must use the Nusuk app to reserve Umrah and Rawdah time slots after visa activation
- Departing from Pakistan: carry your NADRA polio certificate — airlines and immigration enforce this for all Pakistan-origin departures
- Since June 2025, visa-only Umrah applications are rejected: your operator must link confirmed Nusuk-approved accommodation, transport, and a Booking Reference Number (BRN) before visa issuance
- Pakistani passport holders cannot apply for Umrah visas directly on Nusuk — applications must go through a MoRA-attested licensed operator via Nusuk Masar
- Hajj requires a dedicated Hajj visa or official Hajj permit (Tasreeh) — performing Hajj on a tourist eVisa, Visa on Arrival, or standard Umrah visa is prohibited and carries fines, deportation, and entry bans
