Visa exemption

No visa exemption exists for Pakistani passport holders; a consular visa is required for all tourism purposes

Application notes

• Pakistani ordinary passport holders are not eligible for e-visa, visa-on-arrival, or visa-free entry facilities and must obtain a consular visa prior to travel
• The visa exemption for holders of valid US, Canada, or Schengen visas does not apply to Pakistani nationals
• El Salvador does not maintain a resident embassy in Pakistan; applicants must contact the nearest Salvadoran diplomatic mission abroad
• All submitted documents must be in Spanish or accompanied by a certified Spanish translation
• Consular officers may request a personal interview at the relevant consular section
• Applicants should initiate the application process at least six weeks before the intended date of travel
• Visa issuance is subject to the discretion of the El Salvadoran immigration authorities
• Payment of the visa fee is typically required in local currency or USD as specified by the consular mission
