- Pakistani passport holders require advance visa approval and security clearance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic
- Applicants must submit their visa requests directly to a Syrian diplomatic mission as there is no online self-service application portal for Pakistani citizens
- Visa fees are determined by the Syrian diplomatic mission at the time of application based on current reciprocity agreements and are not fixed
- It is highly recommended to provide an invitation letter from a registered tour operator or a sponsor in Syria to support the application
