Application notes

  • Pakistani passport holders are eligible for a Visa on Arrival when arriving by air at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport or by sea at Dili Seaport
  • Travelers arriving via land borders must obtain a Visa Application Authorization in advance from a diplomatic mission of Timor-Leste
  • Visa on Arrival is valid for a single entry and a stay of up to 30 days
  • Ensure passport is valid for at least six months beyond the intended date of departure and contains at least two blank pages
  • Proof of sufficient funds and confirmed return or onward travel arrangements are mandatory for entry
  • All travelers must complete the official Timor-Leste e-Declaration Form online prior to arrival to receive a mandatory QR code
  • Visa fees must be paid in cash (USD) upon arrival; exact change is strongly recommended as facilities may be limited

Application Process

  1. Step 1

    Complete the mandatory e-Declaration Form online up to 5 days before departure to generate an entry QR code

  2. Step 2

    For air or sea arrivals, proceed to the immigration counter at the port of entry with your passport and supporting documents

  3. Step 3

    Present your passport, return ticket, and proof of funds to the immigration officer

  4. Step 4

    Pay the 30 USD visa fee in cash to receive the visa sticker

  5. Step 5

    For land border arrivals, submit a request for a Visa Application Authorization to a diplomatic mission of Timor-Leste before travel

  6. Step 6

    Present the approved Visa Application Authorization at the land border crossing upon arrival
